Scheduled Board Meetings
The Board of Directors have established a schedule of on-going board meetings that go through June 2011.
The board will meet on the 2nd Thursday of every other month starting in October at 7pm Eastern Time (6pm Central Time).
The next meeting dates are:
- October 14, 2010
- December 9, 2011
- February 10, 2011
- April 14, 2011
- June 3, 2011 – ANNUAL MEETING – 9AM – Discounts available for room rentals
If an issue warrants it, a special or emergency meeting will be called as needed. As the by-laws state, all meetings will be posted on the Hotel on the Cay bulletin board at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. We will also post the information on this site for any non-scheduled meetings.

Tried to join board meeting tonight via Skype by clicking on the above ‘Participant Start Skype’ link from the HOTC webpage. It said subscription should be renewed and I was not able to get on.
Also, tried to join by clicking on my Skype icon from my desktop and it said the same thing. To join from my desktop, I used 990082704 for the conference call No. and the balance of the numbers is for the room number but I couldn’t get beyond the conference call No.
Skype always worked when Ira managed the Hi Def Conference call. Please advise.
While trying to log into Skype, the internet browser I was using was Firefox and it didn’t work, as I explained in my last msg. However, when I tried Internet Explorer, it worked but it appeared the meeting was over.
BTW, when using Internet Explorer, the link to click on via this web site was almost hidden.

Did you try to dial all the numbers (including the room number) into Skype?
If you click on the “participant start” image, it should start Skype and dial the full number automatically.
Otherwise, you can just copy and paste the following number into the Skype dial screen. Try it now to see if it will get you into the room. You will be placed on hold since there is no meeting being held, but it is a good test.

It seems the file that was on the old website did not get moved, so we had to locate an archive and we posted that to the documents section of the new owners website.
Please be advised that the board meeting originally scheduled for Feb 10 will be held on Feb 9 instead at 7:00 PM EST. The same Skype address applies, if you wish to use a telephone to conference in, please contact Sara at HOTC to pay the nominal teleconference fee.
Please be advised that the board meeting scheduled for April 14th is expected to be held as scheduled. The usual Skype address (+9900827045467218) should work, and those wishing to join by teleconference should contact Sara at the hotel to pay the nominal connect fee.
Mitch, we hope that the board will not discontinue Skype access to the board meetings. We were on this evening (4-14-ll) via Skype and we did hear the interference but then it cleared. It was not from our end.
We have a deep-seated interest in the Hotel and thus enjoy being able to keep up with the happenings.
