Good morning! Just a quick note to let everyone know that there was no damage from yesterdays storm. A few branches down but otherwise we are just fine. The biggest problem was lack of power, we were out most of the day. The staff came in as scheduled and helped finish getting everything secured and getting the guests what they needed. There was a noon government curfew imposed and the potential for 70mph winds by 11:00 so I sent them home at 10:00. Due to the curfew and the weather, everything in town was shut down. Tommy made a very nice dinner on the terrace for our guests and the power came on shortly after we ate.

Everyone is here and working as usual today. Hoping that will be it for us this year. At least this one came during the day. It’s not as frightening as having it hit in the middle of the night. Other than that everything is going as usual.
