Board elections 2012
The ballots for board elections, notice of annual meeting, and newsletter, are going out pretty soon. Unfortunately we didn’t get much by way of volunteers. Jim tried to get a CPA to agree, but I couldn’t get a confirmation from the gentleman that he agreed to be on the ballot. One other member offered to serve, but didn’t want to run against current board members. So, we have the incumbents – Jim Pyzyk (currently Treasurer) and Captain Howard Stoodley (currently dealing with receivables) and …… write-ins. Due to concerns about getting a quorum to make the election “legal” we need everyone to return a marked ballot. If you want to save time, just mark the box to assign your proxy. Since we had a big push to get votes for by-law changes last year, we will need a fair number of votes to get quorum this year.
