Regretfully, we have received a resignation from Mitch Loftus. I personally would like to thank Mitch for all the work he has done and wish him well during his retired life in Florida. Although he escaped the harsh Midwest winters, I’m not so sure the Florida weather has been any easier.

Although I have mentioned this verbally during the last year or more, this serves as my formal notice that I will be resigning my seat on the HOTC board of directors as of October 1st, 2017, and surrendering my timeshare. I am somewhat disappointed to be leaving while important changes are in the works, but my situation has changed recently (retired and moved to Florida) and I find I must make other changes to accommodate my new retiree lifestyle. Plus, I’m now living in a warm climate and have little need to visit the Caribbean. I have very much enjoyed the time I spent on the board (hard to believe: 7 years) and certainly enjoyed the company of all those who also served, as well as the other owners and employees I have met over the years.
